Bangladesh's
stock market closed mixed on Monday, the second trading day of the week, with
turnover on the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) dropping below Tk 10 billion. Most
listed securities also ended the session lower.
Data from
the DSE showed that the benchmark DSE index edged up slightly from the previous
session, while the DSE Shariah Index and the DS30 Index, which tracks 30
blue-chip companies, both declined. Of the issues traded, 148 advanced, 182
