Prime Minister arrives at Matarbari Power Plant in Cox's Bazar

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has arrived at the Matarbari Power Plant in Cox's Bazar. He reached Matarbari in Maheshkhali around 10:45 AM today (Sunday).
Earlier in the day, he departed from Tejgaon Airport for Maheshkhali at 9:15 AM.
The Prime Minister's Additional Press Secretary, Atikur Rahman Rumon, said that the Prime Minister will inspect the Matarbari Deep Sea Port, the coal-fired power project, and the activities of the Maheshkhali Integrated Development Authority. From there, the Prime Minister will proceed to the flood-affected areas of Banshkhali and Hathazari and will hand over new houses for the rehabilitation of flood victims.
Prime Minister's schedule:
Morning: Inspection of the Matarbari Deep Sea Port, coal power project, and the Maheshkhali Integrated Development Project in Maheshkhali.
Around 12:30 PM: Attendance at a program organized at the West Banshkhali High School and College ground in Baharchhara Union, Maheshkhali, for the rehabilitation of those affected by the recent floods.
2:00 PM: Meeting with Allama Shah Muhibullah Babunagari at Al-Jamiatul Islamia Azizul Uloom Babunagar Madrasa in Fatikchhari.
3:15 PM: Visiting the grave of Allama Shah Ahmad Shafi at Al-Jamiatul Ahlia Darul Uloom Moinul Islam Madrasa in Hathazari.
3:45 PM: Rest break at the Hathazari Dak Bungalow.
5:00 PM: Attendance at a rehabilitation program for recent flood victims at the Hathazari Government College ground.
7:15 PM: Participation in an organizational meeting at the auditorium of the Radisson Blu Chattogram Bay View hotel in Chattogram.
The Additional Press Secretary further informed that the Prime Minister traveled from Dhaka to Maheshkhali by helicopter. Later, he will travel from Fatikchhari to Chattogram by road. After completing all programs, the Prime Minister will return to Dhaka by a flight from Hazrat Shah Amanat International Airport at 9:30 PM.
