SSC and equivalent results to be published tomorrow

The results of this year’s Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations will be officially unveiled by Education Minister Dr. A N M Ehsanul Haque Milan at 10 am tomorrow, Monday. The Education Ministry announced this in a notice today, Sunday.
An inauguration ceremony for the results has been arranged at the conference room of the Education Ministry to mark the publication of the results. At the same time, examinees will be able to access their results online, through their educational institutions and via mobile phone SMS.
According to the ministry’s notice, the chairmen of all education boards will hand over the examination results to the education minister at the results inauguration ceremony.
After the results are officially published, the results of each respective board will be available on the websites of the relevant education boards. Results will also be available through two common websites, eduboardresult.gov.bd and educationboardresults.gov.bd. Examinees will also be able to collect their results from their respective educational institutions.
Results can also be obtained through mobile phone SMS. To do so, examinees must go to the message option and first type ‘SSC,’ followed by a space, the first three letters of the name of their education board, another space, their roll number, another space and the examination year, then send the message to 16140. The results will be sent in a return SMS.
For examinees under the Dhaka Education Board, the SMS format will be ‘SSC DHA ROLL YEAR.’ For Dakhil examinees under the Madrasah Education Board, they must type ‘SSC MAD ROLL YEAR,’ while examinees under the Technical Education Board must type ‘SSC TEC ROLL YEAR’ and send the message to 16140. A charge of Tk 1.39 will apply for each SMS. All applicable taxes are included in this charge.
A total of 1,857,344 students completed the application process to take this year’s SSC and equivalent examinations. Of them, 1,418,398 students took the SSC examination under the country’s nine general education boards.
A total of 304,286 students completed the application process for the Dakhil examination under the Madrasah Education Board, while 134,660 students took the SSC (Vocational) examination under the Technical Education Board.
