Islamic Insurance PLC posts 30% EPS growth in first half

The earnings per share (EPS) of Islamic Insurance PLC, listed on the stock market, increased by 30% in the first six months (January–June) of the current fiscal year.

According to the data, the company's EPS stood at Tk 2.06 in the first six months of the current year, compared to Tk 1.58 in the same period of the previous year. During this period, EPS rose by Tk 0.48, or approximately 30%.
In the second quarter (April–June), the company's EPS was Tk 1.04, compared to Tk 0.78 in the same quarter of the previous year. This represents an increase of Tk 0.26, or around 33%, in this quarter.
Meanwhile, in the first quarter (January–March), the company's EPS was Tk 1.02, versus Tk 0.80 in the same period last year, meaning profit rose by about 28% in the first quarter.
As of June 30, 2026, the company's net asset value per share (NAVPS) stood at Tk 25.75.
Earlier, the company's board of directors declared a 16% cash dividend for shareholders for the year 2025. In that year, the company's EPS was Tk 3.04, and as of December 31, 2025, its NAVPS was Tk 23.62.
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on August 27 to approve the declared dividend.
