Banned Chhatra League held a procession on the University of Chittagong (CU) campus on Thursday, starting from the university’s Zero Point and proceeding toward road number one.

Wahidul Alam, former assistant secretary of the CU Chhatra League, led the procession. He is a student from the 2016-17 session of the Sports Science department. Around 20 to 25 individuals were seen participating in the march, all wearing masks.

Mahin, a student of the university, said, “Activists of the banned Chhatra League are trying to heat up the campus environment by holding a procession.”

Regarding the incident, the university’s Proctor Hossain Shaid Shohrowardhy added, “We have not received any information yet. We are trying to find out.”
