Citizens Bank signs agreement with DESCO to collect bills

Citizens Bank PLC. recently signed an agreement with the Dhaka Electricity Supply Company Limited (DESCO) at DESCO Head Office at Nikunja-2, Dhaka. In the presence of Alamgir Hossain, Managing Director of Citizens Bank and Brigadier General Shameem Ahmed, ndc, psc (Retd.), Managing Director of DESCO Md. Mostafizur Rahman, Deputy Managing Director of Citizens Bank and Engr. S. M Shah Sultan, Superintend Engineer (Company Secretary) of DESCO signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.

Md. Abdul Latif, Deputy Managing Director of Citizens Bank, A Z M Sharjil Hasan, Executive Director, Finance and Accounts, Md. Mominul Islam, General Manager, Finance and Accounts, Mr. Md. Manhaj Uddin, Deputy General Manager, Finance and Accounts, DESCO along with other senior officials from both organizations were also present in the signing ceremony. Under this agreement, Citizens Bank will facilitate the collection of DESCO electricity bills through its branches, sub-branches and digital banking platforms across the country, ensuring a convenient, secure and seamless payment experience for DESCO clients.
