You can now correct your National Identity Card (NID) online right from your home. The application fee can also be paid through mobile banking. If desired, applications can also be submitted through the traditional method at the relevant upazila, thana, or district election office.

However, to apply online, you must first be a registered voter and sign up on the Election Commission's NID services portal. For registration, you will need your NID number, an active mobile number, date of birth, and address-related information.

Services Available Online

After registration, a voter can access the following services:

View profile information
Find out voting center information
Apply for correction or update of NID information
Apply for a change of address or voting area
Apply for the reprinting of a lost or damaged card
Book an appointment to change photo and signature
Check the current status of the application

For correcting information, necessary supporting documents must be uploaded online. Required instructions will be available on the website during the application process.
