Actor and TV host Shahriar Nazim Joy shared a Facebook status addressing actor Omar Sani, sharply criticizing a recent comment made by the latter.
In his Facebook post, Shahriar Nazim Joy wrote, "Omar Sani bhai called Messi disabled. Back in the nineties, I used to see Moushumi whipping Omar Sani in movies. Now I understand why she did it."
Many users commented and reacted to Joy's post. Some agreed with his remarks, while others argued that making such a comment about Omar Sani was inappropriate, given his stature as a highly popular actor in his prime.
Earlier, in a video concerning Argentina and Lionel Messi, Omar Sani had stated, "Messi is disabled. Messi used to be my favorite player. But his popularity won't last forever. His popularity has started to decline day by day. The popularity of the Argentina team is also on the decline."
In another video on the same day, Omar Sani remarked, "Brazil lost, and I don't call it unfair. Brazil played poorly, so they lost. But some shameless Argentina fans are celebrating the victory. I see no reason to celebrate like this."
