Devastating fire at Bangkok bar kills 27

A devastating fire has broken out at a bar in the Thai capital, Bangkok, leaving 27 people dead and more than 60 others injured.
The incident occurred on Sunday around 11:30 PM local time. A passing driver noticed the flames engulfing the bar and immediately alerted emergency services. Firefighters reached the spot after midnight and managed to bring the blaze under control after nearly half an hour of effort, but significant loss of life had already occurred by then. The injured were rescued and rushed to hospitals, while local media reports state that several people still remain missing.
After inspecting the scene, Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul confirmed that 27 bodies had been recovered from the debris and the injured had been hospitalized. However, the cause of the fire is yet to be determined.
Videos circulating on social media show the fire rapidly spreading across the entire bar. Many people were seen running out in a desperate attempt to save their lives—some screaming, while others collapsed to the ground. At least two individuals were seen escaping with their bodies caught in flames.
According to local media information, the deceased include 9 men and 18 women. Additionally, several individuals are still unaccounted for.
The bar is locally known as "Rong Beer Na Lat Phrao." Located in the Chatuchak area of Bangkok, it is well-known among locals as a popular restaurant and entertainment hub.
