Navy provides medical aid in St. Martin’s, Army distributes relief in Chittagong

The Bangladesh Navy has conducted a free medical camp, distributed medicine, and provided relief assistance to the flood-affected residents of St. Martin's Island. Under this initiative, 230 individuals received medical care and necessary medications. Meanwhile, the Bangladesh Army has continued its humanitarian assistance operations to support affected people in various flood-stricken areas of Chittagong.
This information was disclosed in two separate press releases sent by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) directorate on Sunday.
The press releases highlighted that the medical campaign and relief operations were conducted on St. Martin's Island on Saturday under the initiative of BNS Samudra Joy.
As part of the program, free medical services were provided to local residents, alongside the distribution of essential medicines and relief materials to the flood-affected populace.
Furthermore, essential relief materials were distributed among the flood-hit people in the Hathazari, Fatikchhari, and Boalkhali upazilas of Chittagong. Alongside the distribution, temporary medical camps have been set up in various areas to offer healthcare services and necessary medications.
