Lionel Richie recovering at home following hospital stay

Famous soft-rock singer Lionel Richie has returned home and is currently recuperating after a brief hospitalization.
The legendary "Hello" singer voluntarily checked himself into a medical facility as a precautionary measure following his headline performance at a summer concert over the weekend, a tour insider revealed to ABC News earlier this week.
Richie had taken the stage Saturday night in St. Louis for The Muny's annual end-of-summer finale. However, according to a Monday report from TMZ, audience members observed the performer appearing to struggle near the conclusion of the set, ultimately delivering his closing number—the upbeat classic "All Night Long"—while seated.
This latest health scare comes just over two months after a similar incident during the opening night of his co-headlining tour with Earth, Wind & Fire in Minnesota on June 24, when Richie experienced dizziness onstage. At that time, multiple videos circulating online captured the singer delivering his performance from a chair as well.
Following that episode, doctors advised Richie to "rest and return to full health," prompting the postponement of two tour stops—one in Columbus, Ohio, and another in Chicago—per Live Nation Chicago. He made his return to the stage on June 30 for a scheduled performance alongside Earth, Wind & Fire in Pittsburgh.
Looking ahead, Richie is slated to fulfill his rescheduled tour commitments and is also set to headline his "King of Hearts" residency at the Wynn in Las Vegas this October and November.
