DMP Operation Arrests 432, Seizes Drugs

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested 432 individuals during operations across Dhaka in the last 24 hours.
DMP’s Media and Public Relations Division Additional Deputy Commissioner Niaz Mehedi confirmed the matter on Wednesday. During the same period, 54 cases were registered in connection with these activities.
The division-wise breakdown of arrests includes 50 by the Ramna Division, 33 by the Lalbagh Division, 59 by the Wari Division, 49 by the Motijheel Division, 49 by the Tejgaon Division, 107 by the Mirpur Division, and 45 by the Gulshan Division and 37 by Uttara Division.
Moreover, Detective Branch (DB) arrested 3 individuals.
During these drives, police recovered 16.540 kg of marijuana, 446 pieces of Yaba tablets, and 32 grams of heroin. Police also seized a motorcycle, a shooter machine, a wood-cutting machine, and a grinding machine.
