Suspicious objects found at 2 Dhaka metro stations

Panic erupted as suspicious objects resembling bombs found under the Mirpur 10 and Farmgate metro stations in Dhaka.
Upon receiving the news, Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) unit of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) rushed to these two locations.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (DC) for the Mirpur Division Md Mostak Sarkar told Agamir Somoy, “Our bomb disposal unit has arrived at the scene. Security on the road has been strengthened. It has not been confirmed whether this is a bomb or not. However, our people are working. Details will be provided later.”
Meanwhile, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (ADC) for the Tejgaon Division Fazlur Rahman said there was no bomb inside the sack in Farmgate.
