From cooking to collecting relief, Nepali stars stand by flood victims

Celebrities and artists are personally rushing to provide relief
assistance to areas affected by the Bhotekoshi River flash floods. They are distributing relief supplies directly into the hands of the victims.
Miss Nepal Dipamala Dhakal, singer Durgesh Thapa, and actor Paul Shah are currently in flood-affected Nuakot vicinity. With
the cooperation of the organization 'Hami Nepal', Dipamala Dhakal is distributing relief materials in various areas of Nuakot. She said t0hat they are taking essential supplies to different relief camps. Not only flood victims but also rescue workers urgently need raincoats and boots.
Singer Durgesh Thapa is also visiting various areas of Nuakot, including Bidur, to distribute food and clothing among flood-affected people. He is personally serving rice to feed the victims. Actor Paul Shah said he has distributed relief among 400 families in Pipaltar of Bidur Municipality, Nuakot. Among them, 200 families were given quilts, mattresses, and blankets. The remaining 200 families received underwear, shawls, noodles, biscuits, saline, and sanitary pads. Actress Priyanka Karki said she is preparing to distribute clothing and donated items she has received to areas that have not yet received relief. The
actress has also shared videos of relief supplies on social media. Rapper Viten has also gone to Bidur in Nuakot to distribute relief.
Singer Ekdev Limbu arrived in the affected areas with a van full of relief supplies, where he also distributed vegetables. On
social media, Ekdev Limbu wrote, "Whatever small role I have been able to play, there is a special joy in returning after doing it." Singer Samiksha Adhikari said she has provided relief supplies for flood victims in Rasuwa district through the Kaski District Administration Office.
Content creator Eva Gurung has also started distributing relief in affected areas. In a video posted on Instagram, she is seen distributing medicine, food, and clothing. Meanwhile, actress Richa Sharma, who is on a tour of Gosainkunda, has called upon everyone to collect clothing. She said there is an urgent need for clothing, especially for women and children among the locals stranded by the floods. It has also been learned that several other artists have contributed money to the Prime Minister's Disaster Relief Fund according to their capacity.
