Having lost the first two T20s to Australia, Bangladesh have already conceded the series. In the final match on Sunday, the hosts won the toss and chose to bat, but they are not in a comfortable position. There are three changes in the Tigers' playing XI today. Soumya Sarkar, Mustafizur Rahman, and Abdul Gaffar have been replaced by Nurul Hasan, Shariful Islam, and Taskin Ahmed.

In just the second over of the innings, Tanzid Hasan Tamim was run out for 5 runs off 2 balls. Then, in the fifth over bowled by Spencer Johnson, the other opener, Saif Hasan, was caught by Marsh while attempting to loft the ball over mid-off. After the two openers departed, Bangladesh managed only 4 runs in the last 3 overs. Parvez, who gave a catch off Nathan Ellis's delivery, was dismissed for just 1 run off 13 balls.

Coming to the crease, Nurul Hasan Sohan hit a boundary off his very first ball, giving Bangladesh their first boundary after 25 balls. However, Sohan's innings couldn't reach double figures either. He was bowled by Adam Zampa for 6 runs off 8 balls. After 8 overs, Bangladesh have managed only 34 runs for the loss of 4 wickets.

Bangladesh XI: Parvez Hossain (wicketkeeper), Tanzid Hasan, Saif Hasan, Shamim Hossain, Towhid Hridoy (captain), Nasum Ahmed, Rishad Hossain, Nahid Rana, Nurul Hasan Sohan, Shariful Islam, and Taskin Ahmed.
