Indian High Commissioner Summoned Over Dr. Zahed's Incident

The government has summoned Pawan Badhe, the Indian Acting High Commissioner to Bangladesh, over the incident involving the Prime Minister's Advisor, Dr. Zahed Ur Rahman, at New Delhi's airport.
According to sources from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he was summoned to the ministry today (Monday).
Earlier, on Sunday, the Prime Minister's Advisor, Dr. Zahed Ur Rahman, had flown to Delhi from Dhaka to attend the Indian Ocean Rim Association (IORA) conference. However, upon landing at the airport, he was prevented from entering the country. The Prime Minister's Advisor subsequently decided to return to Dhaka via Colombo.
Meanwhile, Foreign Minister Khalilur Rahman has stated that the government is taking appropriate measures regarding the incident of barring Dr. Zahed Ur Rahman from entering Delhi.
Speaking to journalists at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs today (Monday), he said, "This is an unfortunate and also regrettable incident. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is taking appropriate action regarding this matter. By the end of today (Monday), we will inform you about this."
