BMD forecasts rain in Dhaka, thunderstorms nationwide

Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) said rain may occur in Dhaka while thunderstorms are likely in various regions of the country.
According to the weather forecast issued for the six hours starting from 7 am on Saturday, sky may remain partly cloudy to temporarily cloudy. There is a possibility of light rain or thunderstorms, with winds blowing from the south or southwest at 10-15 kilometers per hour. Daytime temperatures might increase slightly.
At 6 am, the temperature in Dhaka was 27.6 degrees Celsius, with air humidity at 90 percent.
The regular weather bulletin released on Friday evening added that by 6 pm Saturday, light to moderate rain or thunderstorms with temporary gusty winds might occur in many places within the Dhaka, Mymensingh, Barishal, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions.
Similar conditions are expected in some areas of the Rangpur, Rajshahi, and Khulna divisions. Moderate heavy to very heavy rainfall may occur and both day and night temperatures across the nation might rise slightly.
