Tarique Rahman Inaugurates DMC Day 2026

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman inaugurated DMC Day-2026, organized to mark the 81st anniversary of Dhaka Medical College.

PM’s Press Wing confirmed the matter at 10 am on Saturday.

Tarique inaugurated the event by releasing symbols of peace - pigeons and balloons - at Shaheed Milan Chattar on the Dhaka Medical College (DMC) campus. During the visit, he also planted a tree on the college auditorium premises. Zubaida Rahman was also present at the time.

Following the inaugural ceremony, Tarique participated in an exchange meeting titled “Thoughts of DMCians on Modernizing Bangladesh’s Healthcare System” held at the DMC auditorium.
