IAPB CEO Meets Tarique Rahman to Boost Eye Care

International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness (IAPB) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Peter Holland paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Tarique Rahman at 11:30 am on Monday.

Deputy Press Secretary Shahadat Hossain Shadhin confirmed the matter.

During the discussion, both parties explored various issues, including the development of eye care services in Bangladesh, the prevention of blindness, the reduction of visual impairment, and the enhancement of mutual cooperation in this sector.

State Minister of Health & Family Welfare MA Muhit also attended the meeting. Following the session, Muhit and Holland held a briefing at the Secretariat to highlight the key aspects and outcomes of their discussion.
