3 more children die of measles symptoms

In the past 24 hours, three more children died in the country with symptoms of measles. During this time, 1,106 new cases of measles and its symptoms have been detected.
This information was released today, Monday, in the regular measles report by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
The DGHS stated that over the past day, a total of three individuals died with measles symptoms—one each in Dhaka, Rajshahi, and Sylhet. However, no deaths from confirmed measles were reported during this period. In total, from March 15 to Monday, 741 people have died nationwide from measles and its symptoms.
Over the last 24 hours, 159 new cases of measles were confirmed. Additionally, symptoms of the disease were observed in 947 more people during this period. With this, a total of 106,565 people have shown symptoms of measles from March 15 to Monday. Concurrently, a total of 12,791 cases of measles have been confirmed during this timeframe.
According to the DGHS report, a total of 89,734 people have been admitted to hospitals across the country with measles and its symptoms from March 15 until Monday (today). Among them, 86,062 patients have recovered and been discharged from hospitals so far.
