Trump Warns Iran: Attacks Likely if They 'Misbehave'

U.S. President Donald Trump has stated that Iran could face further attacks if it "misbehaves" or engages in misconduct. However, he did not specify what exactly would be categorized as such behavior.

Trump made these remarks Saturday night while speaking to a reporter before boarding Air Force One in Florida. When asked whether he would resume strikes on Iran, he clarified his position.

"If they (Iran) misbehave or do something bad, then it’s likely," Trump said. "But not right now, we’ll see later. There is certainly a possibility of that happening."

Earlier, Iranian state media reported that Tehran had sent a 14-point proposal to the United States. Commenting on this, Trump noted, "They (Iran) have informed me about the idea of a deal. They will now provide me with the specific language."

He told reporters he would provide updates on the new proposal later. However, shortly afterward, Trump posted on his social media platform, Truth Social: "I will soon review the plan Iran just sent us. But I do not think it will be accepted. Iran has not yet paid a sufficient price for what it has done to humanity and the world over the last 47 years."

In a related development, the United States is set to sell $8.6 billion worth of weapons to its Middle Eastern allies. The U.S. State Department has already granted approval for the deals. According to a statement published on the State Department's website, these agreements include sales to Israel, Kuwait, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates.
