Brazil head coach Carlo Ancelotti has promised a stronger performance against Haiti following a disappointing draw against Morocco.
Speaking at a pre-match press conference, the Italian manager expressed optimism ahead of Friday’s Group stage fixture.
“After the 1-1 draw against Morocco, we were not satisfied with the performance, especially in the first half,” Ancelotti said. “Tomorrow we will present a completely different game—much higher in quality.”
Brazil will face Haiti at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia at 6:30 am Bangladesh time on Friday. Ancelotti also hinted at changes to the starting lineup but did not reveal specific names.
Asked about young forward Endrick, the coach urged patience once again.
“He will play at the right moment. We still need to wait a bit longer. In the future, he will play an important role for the team,” he said.
Haiti lost their opening match 1-0 to Scotland, but Ancelotti warned against underestimating the Caribbean side.
“Haiti is a physically strong team. They are well organized, with a clear tactical plan, and they have a tall target striker up front. They play good football with their own identity. In this World Cup, every team is highly motivated—no result is guaranteed in advance. Every match is competitive,” he added.
