Bodies of 9 Bangladeshis killed in Saudi Arabia fire to arrive

The bodies of nine Bangladeshi nationals who died in a sofa factory fire in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, will arrive in Bangladesh on Thursday.
Saudi authorities identified the nine victims through fingerprint tests. Among them, seven individuals are from the Atrai upazila of Naogaon district. The other two victims are from Natore and Rajshahi.
Naogaon District Commissioner Mohammad Saiful Islam confirmed the matter, citing a letter sent by the Bangladesh Embassy in Riyadh. The flight BG-340 of Biman Bangladesh Airlines is scheduled to reach Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 4 pm carrying the bodies.
Earlier on 9 August, a fire at a sofa-making factory in Riyadh claimed the lives of 16 Bangladeshi workers.
