Executive Director of Ad-din Hospital Resigns

Executive Director of Ad-din Hospital Sheikh Mohiuddin resigned from his position and the new Board of Directors has entrusted Jamalunnesa with the executive responsibilities of the institution.
Director of Company Affairs at Ad-din Foundation Tariqul Islam Mukul confirmed the matter in a press release on Tuesday.
He added that the institution has expressed grief over the recent child deaths at Ad-din Medical College Hospital. Based on a preliminary investigation, the hospital has taken action against several employees on charges of negligence.
Moreover, initiatives are under way to strengthen monitoring systems and re-evaluate existing medical protocols to prevent such incidents in future.
The statement added that, in line with government directives, the institution has begun making necessary changes to its infrastructure and management. Reform work is under way under the guidance of three independent consultants to improve the hospital environment, particularly to ensure adequate ventilation and oxygen supply.
The press release also mentioned that the bakery located on top of the hospital building has been completely shut down.
