Supreme Court has struck down President Donald Trump’s effort to limit
birthright citizenship, dealing a major blow to his anti-immigration agenda.
In a 6-3
decision issued Tuesday, the court upheld a lower court ruling that had blocked
Trump’s executive order. Plaintiffs challenging the order argued that it
violated the 14th Amendment to the US Constitution, which grants citizenship to
