In what could be called a humorous response to the criticism made by BNP leader Muhammad Rashed Khan, Sayed Uddin Ahmed Hanzala, the Member of Parliament for the Madaripur-1 (Sibchar) constituency, has made a satirical retort.
In a post on his verified Facebook page today, Sunday, he wrote, "Rashed Khan wants to see me in a zoo. I will certainly go, but I will stay with the tigers—at least a tiger is not confused about its own identity!"
In the same post, pointing at Rashed Khan, Hanzala said, "And I will leave Rashed Khan next to a cow named 'Donald Trump.' Let’s see how long the two of them can chat! My only request to the zoo authorities is that the cow doesn't apply for a name change later!"
Earlier on Saturday, BNP leader Muhammad Rashed Khan harshly criticized Hanzala in a post on his verified Facebook page. He wrote, "MP Hanzala should be kept in a zoo so that everyone can buy a ticket at the zoo counter to see this strange creature!"
In that post, Rashed Khan further alleged that he was embarrassed by Hanzala's behavior toward a BNP leader. He also criticized various past statements made by Hanzala regarding BNP.
