2 soldiers killed in accident during shelling exercise in Hathazari

An accident occurred during Bangladesh Army's shelling exercise in Hathazari, Chattogram, resulting in the deaths of two soldiers.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) confirmed this information on Wednesday afternoon.
It was also reported that in addition to the two soldiers death, an army officer was injured in the accident. However, the names and identities of the victims were not disclosed.
An ISPR press release stated that during an exercise at the Field Firing Range, two army soldiers were killed in a sudden accident while shells were being fired from a tank. One officer was seriously injured.
The injured officer has been transported by helicopter to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dhaka for advanced treatment.
The ISPR said that an investigation is underway to determine the cause of the accident.
