Coca-Cola has extended its contract as the official beverage and drinking partner of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) for another two years. In 2024, Coca-Cola had partnered with the men's team, women's team, and Under-19 team for a two-year term. With the new agreement signed on Saturday, the world's leading beverage manufacturer has renewed its commitment to stand beside Bangladesh's cricket for an additional two years.
A contract signing ceremony was held on Saturday afternoon at the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium in Mirpur, attended by top officials from both organisations. Representing the BCB were Masuduzzaman, Chairman of the Marketing and Commercial Committee and Member Secretary of the BPL Governing Council, and Asif Rabbani, Chairman of the Media and Communication Committee and Vice Chairman of the Marketing and Commercial Committee. Representing Coca-Cola were Managing Director Moin Ullah Chowdhury and Country Head and Director of Public Affairs, Communications, and Sustainability Momshad Ali Khan.
Speaking about the renewal of the partnership, Coca-Cola Bangladesh's Managing Director Moin Ullah Chowdhury said, "Cricket has a unique power to bring people together and inspire every community in Bangladesh. We are extremely delighted to renew this partnership with the Bangladesh Cricket Board. We are committed to continuing our support for the sport that millions of Bangladeshis passionately love and celebrate."
Masuduzzaman, Chairman of the BCB Marketing and Commercial Committee, said, "We are very pleased to have Coca-Cola Bangladesh as our partner once again. Their continued support will play a significant role in strengthening our fan engagement activities and contributing to the overall progress of cricket in Bangladesh."
