President Accepts Resignation of Dipen Dewan

President Md. Shahabuddin has accepted the resignation letter of Chattogram Hill Tracts Affairs Minister Dipen Dewan.
The information was confirmed on Monday through a notification signed by Cabinet Secretary Nasimul Ghani.
The notification stated that the resignation takes immediate effect.
Earlier on Monday, Dipen Dewan resigned from his post citing physical illness, just three and a half months after assuming office. He was elected as a Member of Parliament from the Rangamati constituency in the 13th National Parliament election on a BNP nomination. He was later appointed as the Minister for Chattogram Hill Tracts Affairs.
