Rabiul Islam Nayan Appointed Joint General Secretary of Jubodal

Rabiul Islam Nayan, Member Secretary of Dhaka Metropolitan South Jubodal, has been appointed as the Joint General Secretary of the central executive committee of the Nationalist Jubodal.
On Wednesday (June 3), a 151-member central executive committee of the Nationalist Jubodal was approved, with Abdul Monem Munna named President and Mohammad Nurul Islam Nayan appointed General Secretary. The information was confirmed on Thursday (June 4) through a press release signed by BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi.
Following his appointment to a key position, a wave of enthusiasm and celebration was observed among party activists. Rabiul Islam Nayan is widely recognized as an active grassroots organizer with long-standing involvement in Chhatradal and Jubodal politics.
Starting his political journey from the grassroots level, he has played an active role in various organizational activities of both Chhatradal and Jubodal. He currently serves as the Member Secretary of Dhaka Metropolitan South Jubodal. Party sources say that during his long political career, he has faced multiple cases, arrests, and imprisonment. He came into prominence particularly due to his active participation in BNP’s movements during the tenure of the Awami League government.
Through political programs, organizational activities, and sustained grassroots engagement, he has strengthened his position among party workers. Party members believe that his appointment to the central committee is a recognition of his long-standing dedication, sacrifice, and organizational contributions.
Following the announcement, his supporters expressed hope that he will play a significant role in strengthening, organizing, and energizing the central Jubodal.
