Gas supply to remain suspended in 10 areas of Dhaka for 8 hours

Gas supply will remain suspended for eight hours in 10 areas of the capital due to the installation of valves on both sides of the railway tracks in the Shahjahanpur rail crossing area and the relocation of a distribution line for the Dhaka Elevated Expressway project.
Titas Gas authorities announced the information in a press release on Wednesday.
According to the press release, gas connections to all residential and commercial customers in Basabo, Khilgaon, Madartek, Shahjahanpur, Sipahibagh, Tilpapara, Malibagh, Shantibagh, Taltala Market and adjoining areas will remain temporarily disconnected from 1 pm to 9 pm on Thursday. Meanwhile, low gas pressure may be experienced in surrounding areas.
Titas Gas authorities apologized to customers for the temporary inconvenience.
