Fatema Tuz Zohra, mother of Abdullah Bin Zahid, a martyr of the July uprising, has met with Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, accompanied by her cancer-stricken son.
The meeting took place on Tuesday afternoon at the Prime Minister's office in the National Parliament Secretariat, where she brought her son Mahmudullah Bin Zisan, who is battling cancer. Agriculturist Moksedul Momin Mithun, Member Secretary of 'Amra BNP Paribar' (We are the BNP Family), was also present.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister inquired about Zisan's health condition and assured Fatema Tuz Zohra of a job.
Agriculturist Moksedul Momin Mithun, Member Secretary of 'Amra BNP Poribar', said that Fatema's eldest son, Abdullah Bin Zahid, was martyred by gunfire on the night of August 5, 2024. Exactly two weeks later, she came to know that her younger son, Mahmudullah Bin Zisan, had been diagnosed with cancer. Seven months after that, she also lost her husband.
In such a dire situation, Tarique Rahman stepped forward to support the family, who were on the verge of being ruined by the mounting medical expenses for her cancer-stricken son. Since then, Zisan's treatment has been conducted under the supervision of Atikur Rahman Rumon, the convener of 'Amra BNP Poribar'.
