PM Tarique Rahman Walks to Gulshan Office from Home

Prime Minister and BNP Chairperson Tarique Rahman walked from his residence to the party office in Gulshan on Friday afternoon.
Additional Press Secretary Atikur Rahman Ruman said the Prime Minister left his home after offering Asr prayer and walked to the party office in Gulshan later in the afternoon.
He said the Prime Minister visited the party office on his day off to attend a program involving city corporation administrators and mayors.
The event was held to hand over Eid-ul-Azha gift cheques for city corporation sanitation workers to the administrators, he added.
He further said that ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr this year, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman had provided a Tk 5,000 Eid gift to city corporation sanitation workers. He is also expected to hand over cheques for sanitation workers to mayors and administrators at today’s program.
