Tarique gives jobs to 3 special needs citizens

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman began his daily schedule by presenting appointment letters to three individuals with special needs on Thursday morning at the Secretariat.
PM’s Deputy Press Secretary Hasan Shiplu confirmed the matter. The appointments aim to empower persons to become self-reliant and integrate them into the mainstream of society. The three appointees are Ayesha Akter, Nila Khatun, and Md Hasmat Ali.
They expressed great excitement after receiving their appointment letters directly from Tarique, viewing the day as the start of both a new career and a new dream.
Nila, who was born without hands, completed her postgraduate studies by writing with her feet. She has been appointed as a teacher at the National Foundation for Development of the Disabled Persons in Mirpur, Dhaka.
Ayesha also completed her postgraduate studies by writing with her feet. Lacking hands, she accepted her appointment letter using her mouth. She has been appointed as a class supervisor at the BIAM Laboratory School and College in Gaibandha.
Meanwhile, Hasmat, who is visually impaired, has been appointed as a union social worker under the Department of Social Services.
Several officials were present during the presentation of the appointment letters, including Social Welfare Minister AZM Zahid Hossain, State Minister Farzana Sharmin, Secretary Mohammad Abu Yousuf, National Foundation for Development of the Disabled Persons Managing Director Md Tarikul Alam, and Department of Social Services Director General Shah Mohammad Mahbub.
Abdus Sattar Dulal, the founder of the Bangladesh Protibandhi Kallyan Somity (BPKS), thanked Tarique for providing jobs to the three individuals.
