About Us
For Truth. With Time
At a defining moment in Bangladesh’s evolving journey—when the nation moves forward with renewed hopes for democracy, accountability, and good governance—Agamir Somoy emerged as a platform committed to objectivity, editorial independence, and non-partisan journalism. More than just a newspaper, it is a promise: a promise to uphold truthful reporting, responsible expression, and enlightened public discourse for both present and future generations.
On January 01, 2025, Agamir Somoy officially launched its online and digital platforms. In this era of digital transformation, it has built a technology-powered infrastructure to ensure fast, accurate, and verified news delivery. The print edition is currently in its pilot phase, with a full-scale newspaper set to reach readers soon. Believing that news is not merely information but a force shaping society, Agamir Somoy strives to create an inclusive platform that transcends divisions of class, age, gender, religion, ethnicity, or ideology.
Guided by liberal democratic values, secularism, and the spirit of Bangladesh’s Liberation War, the platform stands firmly for the dignity and rights of women, children, religious minorities, and marginalized communities. For Agamir Somoy, journalism goes beyond reporting events—it means supporting constructive initiatives, fostering positive change, and inspiring forward-looking development.
