US Congressman Morgan McGarvey said that President Donald Trump’s war against Iran is hurting everyone.
He made these remarks in a post on the social media platform X on Wednesday.
McGarvey based his comments on a previous post by the Trump’s Agriculture Secretary. US Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins recently said that Iran war has hurt American farmers.
Rollins added that fertilizer prices in the US remain excessively high, leaving farmers struggling with the increased costs of agricultural inputs.
Supporting Rollins’ assessment, McGarvey mentioned, “Trump’s Iran-war is hurting everyone - even his own administration cannot deny it.”
The crisis in the Middle East has negatively impacted the American standard of living, with inflation driving up the prices of essential goods.
Experts suggest that these economic pressures could cause Trump to face a significant setback in the upcoming November midterm elections.
