Tahsan Visits Rohingya Camp

UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador and singer Tahsan Khan visited a Rohingya refugee camp at Ukhiya of Cox's Bazar on Thursday.
During the visit, he interacted with Rohingya youths and discussed their experiences, aspirations and future challenges.
Tahsan toured Kutupalong Camp-1 East in Ukhiya on Thursday morning. He later participated in a discussion at a community center, where he listened to the views and concerns of young members of the Rohingya community.
Mohammad Mizanur Rahman, Refugee Relief and Repatriation Commissioner, confirmed Tahsan's visit to the camp.
He said Tahsan was also scheduled to hold discussions with officials and stakeholders involved in Rohingya affairs at the Refugee Relief and Repatriation Commissioner's Office in Cox's Bazar later in the day.
Rohingya volunteer Monjur Al Hasan shared photos with Tahsan on social media, saying he had the opportunity to welcome the UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador to Camp-1 East.
Participants in the discussion shared their experiences, opinions and recommendations regarding the welfare, education, security and future of the Rohingya community.
According to Hasan, Tahsan's visit would reinforce the message of solidarity with the Rohingya people and help promote greater understanding and empathy.
As part of his daylong itinerary, Tahsan visited various humanitarian programs in the camps and exchanged views with Rohingya refugees living there.
