Tarique Arrives in Sylhet to Launch Family Card Programme

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman arrived in Sylhet around 10:15 am on Wednesday and he is scheduled to depart for Moulvibazar by road shortly after.
PM’s Press Wing confirmed the matter. Earlier, the flight carrying Tarique departed from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) around 9:30 am.
Tarique will travel from Sylhet to Moulvibazar by road. At 1 pm, he will inaugurate the family card distribution programme at the Victoria High School field. Under the initiative, family cards will be distributed among 155 families of ward number 1 of Mirzapur Union in Sreemangal Upazila.
At 2:30 pm, he will participate in another family card distribution ceremony at the Moulvibazar Government High School field. Family cards will be distributed here among 152 families of ward number 7 of Tengra Union in Rajnagar Upazila. In the afternoon, Tarique will depart from the Moulvibazar Government High School field for DuSai Resort.
Tarique will also attend a political meeting organised at the Resort. After the meeting, he will depart for Dhaka from Osmani International Airport in the evening.
