BMD Forecasts Rain, Thundershowers for Dhaka

Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) said that sky may remain cloudy, with the potential for rain or thundershowers.
The forecast, issued for Dhaka and surrounding areas for the six-hour period starting at 7 am Tuesday, added that the sky will range from partially to temporarily cloudy, with rain or thunder-related precipitation expected.
Winds will blow from the south or southeast at speeds of 10 to 15 kilometers per hour. Daytime temperatures will likely remain unchanged.
On Tuesday at
6 am, the temperature in Dhaka stood at 27.8 degrees Celsius, while humidity
levels reached 93 percent. On Monday, Dhaka recorded a maximum temperature of
31.70 degrees Celsius. Total rainfall on Monday was recorded at 14 millimeters.
