Police detain 10 AL activists in Dhanmondi

Police detained 10 leaders and activists of Awami League (AL), a party whose activities are banned, and its affiliated organizations in Dhanmondi, Dhaka on Wednesday.
Dhanmondi Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Imdadul Islam Tayyab confirmed the matter.
According to the police, AL leaders and activists attempted to launch a procession on Dhanmondi road number 2 around 6 am. Around 30-40 individuals were present at the scene. Police detained 10 people and also seized a microbus.
OC Tayyab said interrogation and legal proceedings are underway.
