5 divisions brace for rain, Dhaka remains dry

Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) said rain or thundershowers may occur in several areas of the country and there is no possibility of rain in Dhaka.
The weather forecast for the six-hour period starting from 7 am Wednesday added that the sky over Dhaka may remain partly cloudy. During this time, the weather is expected to be mostly dry. Winds are expected to blow from the south or southeast at 8 to 12 kilometers per hour. Daytime temperature today might remain nearly unchanged.
At 6 am, the temperature in Dhaka was recorded at 27 degrees Celsius, with humidity at 96 percent. The minimum temperature stands at 26.8 degrees Celsius. Over the last 24 hours, 5 millimeters of rainfall was recorded.
Another weather bulletin said by 6 pm, light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty winds may occur at many places in the Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions.
Similar weather patterns may be seen at one or two places in the Rangpur, Rajshahi, and Dhaka divisions. Moderately heavy rainfall is possible in some parts of the country. Both day and night temperatures across the nation may increase slightly.
