Peter Phillips, a member of the British royal family and nephew of King Charles III, has married nurse Harriet Sperling. Phillips, 48, is the son of Princess Anne and Captain Mark Phillips and is 19th in line to the British throne. The wedding took place on Saturday in a private ceremony at All Saints Church in Kemble, Gloucestershire.
The location was chosen because Sperling was living in that village when the couple first met. Well-wishers cheered as King Charles III and Queen Camilla arrived for the wedding of the Princess Royal's son.
Among the royal family members attending the wedding alongside the King and Queen were the Prince and Princess of Wales, Zara and Mike Tindall, and the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh.
People from various parts of the world came to the ceremony, and they cheered loudly when Prince William and Catherine arrived at All Saints Church. Metal barriers were set up around the church to create two enclosed areas for the media and the public, and roads were closed.
Phillips and Sperling began a romantic relationship in 2024 after his separation from his first wife, Autumn Kelly, in 2020. The couple's engagement was announced in August 2025.
