Anwar Group of Industries is one of the leading and most prestigious industrial conglomerates in the country. Its strong foundation was laid by Anwar Hossain, a native resident of Lalbagh, Dhaka. Through unflinching determination and relentless efforts, he built successful enterprises and developed a pool of skilled workforce. Starting from modest beginnings, he built a vast business empire. On August 17, 2021, he passed away at the age of 83, leaving behind a legacy of 40 successful business entities, which are now managed by his sons. His life was dedicated to human welfare rather than the mere accumulation of wealth.
