Two children
died with symptoms of measles within 24 hours in the Sylhet division, bringing
the death toll to 138.

Department Assistant Director Mohammad Nure Alam Shamim confirmed the matter on
Tuesday. During the same period, nine new cases were confirmed, and 115
individuals were hospitalized as suspected measles patients.
According to
the report, 988 people have been diagnosed with measles in the Sylhet division
from 1 January to 18 August.
