Eight more children have died with measles symptoms across
the country in the past 24 hours. With this, the total number of deaths from
measles and measles symptoms has reached 1,044 this year.
During this period, 1,320 new cases of measles symptoms were
reported.
The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) disclosed
the information in its regular measles report on Wednesday (September 16).
