The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has taken special security
measures across the country ahead of August 15. Intelligence surveillance has
been increased to prevent sabotage and any untoward situation.
Security has been tightened at the mausoleum of Sheikh
Mujibur Rahman and surrounding areas in Tungipara, Gopalganj. Five platoons of
Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) personnel have been deployed there.
