Prisoner dies at hospital after falling ill in Narayanganj jail
A prisoner named Md Sajib Ahmed (25), who fell ill at Narayanganj District Jail has died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital. He died on Wednesday night. Sajib’s home is in Maijpara area of Ward 2 under Narayanganj City Corporation. Narayanganj District Jail Superintendent Abdul Quddus confirmed the death and said Sajib had been admitted to the jail hospital after falling ill several days ago. A theft case accused who was in jail custody escaped by jumping from the second-floor balcony of a court building in Sirajganj.
