A new vessel has joined the seagoing fleet of Meghna Group
of Industries (MGI), one of Bangladesh’s largest industrial groups. With this
addition, the company’s number of seagoing vessels has reached 28.
The information was disclosed in a statement on Wednesday.
According to the statement, the vessel was purchased from
W.F. Artemis Maritime S.A. through MGI’s Singapore based subsidiary Meghna
Trade and Commerce. The vessel has a cargo carrying capacity of 63,547 metric
tons.
