Kamalapur Metro Rail Station to Open in March
Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) is working to open the Kamalapur station of the MRT Line-6 metro rail system in March next year. Before that, the company plans to begin trial runs by December this year. Officials believe the launch of Kamalapur station will increase the metro rail’s daily ridership by at least 20 percent.
