Coast guard ships renamed, names of four national leaders dropped
Five ships of the Bangladesh Coast Guard have been renamed, with the names of four national leaders dropped. Another ship previously named Joy Bangla has also received a new name. The Ministry of Home Affairs issued a circular on Thursday approving the renaming of the ships. It said the proposal to change their names had been approved following a letter from the Coast Guard.
